When available, Hahkiala's kitchen uses Finnish ingredients that for the most part are locally sourced, including fish from the nearby lakes. Wild mushrooms and berries come from local pickers, and herbs are grown in our own herb garden. Our bread and pastries are always freshly baked.

Hahkiala's delicious wild game cuisine will impress the most discerning of gourmets. We want to bring our guests the best possible dining experience, and this is why we only use wild game. Among the game we offer are wild duck, wild boar, fallow deer and red deer.

Our food is prepared with love, and our menus treat you to the best of the seasonal produce. Signal crayfish can be enjoyed in the autumn at Hahkiala's famous crayfish parties. Tell us your wishes and we will work with you to create a menu tailored to your event.
